How to install VirtualBox 4.2.16 on Fedora/ CentOS

VirtualBox-LogoVirtualBox is an Opensource visualization application for both enterprise and home user. Using this we can install multiple Guest Operating system. In this tutorial I will show you how to install and configure VirtualBox.

Install VirtualBox repository:

Fedora 19/18/17/16/15/14/13/12 users

CentOS 6.4/6.3/6.2/6.1/6/5.9 and Red Hat (RHEL) 6.4/6.3/6.2/6.1/6/5.9 users

Update your system:

Check the kernel Version and update to newer if you have an older version:

or

Add EPEL repository:

Install the below dependency applications:

Install latest version of VirtualBox

Rebuild kernel modules with following command:

Start VirtualBox
